During our quick 24-hour trip to NYC, my vegetarian husband insisted we check out Slutty Vegan in Brooklyn--and I'm so glad he did! We stopped by late at night, and even though the space was small, sitting right on the corner, it was charming and full of personality. The decor was fun, and we were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. We ordered the One Night Stand, Sloppy Toppy, slutty fries, and their signature sauce. The service was great; the staff was super friendly and helped us decide what to try. I wasn't even that hungry, but let me tell you--I devoured that Sloppy Toppy. It was so good! Now, here's the twist: my husband sneakily ordered the Hollywood Hooker sub, and I didn't even know about it until the next morning when I caught him warming it up. Guess who helped him finish that off? Yep, guilty as charged. It was delicious too! If you're in Brooklyn, I highly recommend giving this place a try. The vibe, the food, and the experience are well worth it!

The moment you walk in you'll a smile on your face because someone will yell something like "we got a slut in the house," it's hilarious. The food was insanely fake meaty, more than most places, you really have to be into that taste to like it- luckily I do! But a vegan food newbie may be a little confused/may not like it. The inside is very very small, the "seating" is 4 tables in a tiny corner and you're squished on top of each other. The decor otherwise is cute, just small!

My friend came here to get some spices she puts on her eggs so I came along for the ride. We were greater with "hey sluts" or whatever colorful phrases they say when you walk in lol. The servers were great and enthusiastic. I can't speak on the food because I didn't have any. I got some merch and I was pleasantly surprised with the prices. Was $20 and $25 for a hoodie and Xmas sweater. I like this place. I'll have to try some of the food next time. Located in a popular area in Brooklyn and it is black owned. I'd check it out again.

This was a solid option for a burger. I had the sloppy toppy, which is more or less the standard burger with jalapeños, and it came with a side of fries. The food was just what I was looking for - a rich, greasy, quick meal. I've had better vegan / vegetarian burgers, but this is certainly a good option in the neighborhood.

I went to the Slutty Vegan today and ordered a Fussy Hussy for $15.99. It was worth every penny. This is a plant based patty with pickles galore, vegan cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, and the famous house sauce. This burger was so decadent. I savored every bite. There is also a small bathroom in the back of the restaurant. Everything is vegan in the restaurant. I had to deduct one star because this restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. In one of the pictures you can see my friend had to leave his wheelchair outside. Aside from this minor set back. This food is delicious and this spot is worth paying a visit to.

Slutty Vegan is from Atlanta and started out as a small business that has now grown with two locations in NYC. I come to this one often when visiting family here. Loved that woman owned small business from ATL is rocking it in BKLYN!

As a non-vegan who loves plant-based alternatives, I've been wanting to stop by for quite some time. The space inside was small but had some seating. Service wise, it took a little for my food, but there was no line. Don't expect a McDonald's fast turnaround, food is made to order but oh so good! Got the "Hooker Fries", which were delicious and sloppy. Lots of lettuce and veg on top of hot fries, delicious vegan cheese and vegan meat. Flavor wasn't sacrificed one bit! I do wish they served tray style for those wishes to eat there. Several other little things I wasn't a huge fan of (menu clicks by on a screen, hard to pin down what's available), overall I think this would hit the spot as a late night vegan "fast food" option. I'd go back if I had a vegan friend who wanted to try, but likely not as a first choice option.

I finally tried Slutty Vegan around the time they opened in Brooklyn. It was very loud lol. I ordered a burger and fries. I was bit annoyed that the cashier tried to upsell me on their chili. I came in for a burger and fries; he asked me if I wanted to TRY the chili (I was thinking that they were offering samples to entice customers to buy it especially because they were newly opened) then proceeded to try to charge me for it. Nevertheless, I had the burger and fries and it was good. It was difficult to determine where to eat it because it was the winter and they had nowhere to eat or even a place to stand and eat. I feel like I would definitely go again but I wouldn't go out of my way to seek it out, and I would go only if I have a plan on where I will eat it after buying it.
